First impression - I remember when I was in high school and the nuns ran our school. Also, I am reminded of some museums I have seen in Europe. Now am staying in one! Great location. Quite easy to find (even at night when I first arrived). The great service started with clear directions from the Airport to Piazza to the Casa. There is a curfew from 12am to 6am but I like that because I can rest after touring the whole day. The facilities are rustic but the bed is comfy. Water has hot and cold and strong pressure. Breakfast was adequate. The orange juice can be improved though. You don't feel like you're in the city at all...but everything is within reach. Overall, it was a charming little place in the charming historical part of the city.

After ~15 trips to Venice (and being Accor Platinum, BestWestern DiamondSelect and Hilton Diamond at same time) - I could confirm that is fair and good hotel for its price and region. It is shame that Venice still not activate day passes extra fee - but still accept RyanAir and EasyJet flights into TSF/VCE instead. For many years before Covid my wish was some system of social ratings for guests in GDS and hotel networks - because some guests indeed should be kept in very special places (unless they prove own adequacy and manners). Pity to see many of low reviews were definitely left by exactly that audience attracted by price and not using own brains in advance. These tourists don't know there is tourist tax in Venice? Incapable to understand that water channels with open windows mean mosquitoes (and not bed bugs)? Go to fancy Indigo hotel at price like 4 times higher and you find that channels and retro waste removal pipes sometimes smell. Or pay for Hilton Molino and ask to keep your luggage after checkout. Or try carton walls in Mercure Marghera and Garden Inn SanGuiliano - at price double higher AND bus ride instead of pleasant walk. You think its noisy outside during the night? Then enjoy unloading works at 5am in Hyatt Murano or ANY location in narrow streets around SanMarco (with extra bonus of drinking cheap hordes after midnight). Please, stay with discount cruises fellas (and better out of Venice, its crowded even without your help), leave that hotel for returning guests of Venice!

Beautiful tranquil place to spend in Venice. It is a Monastery run by nuns. There is a church where you can pray and breakfast is included. Very clean and quiet. Definitely a must try experience for your next trip. Location is great.
