The place was pretty decent, the staff is exceptional - high regards to the manager, it's amazing how much work there is and despite that the kindness and politeness is unquestionable, steady and constant. I stayed for a few days and would be going back again another time - I highly recommend this hostel

I arrived late at night. Having informed the staff ahead of time they were to leave a lock and key at the counter. However the key was missing from the lock making it completely useless. When I informed the staff they blamed 'human error' of some other guest, as though the key to a different would in some way help them. Lockers aren't marked by bed number and I didn't find an available space to store my bags so I ended up shoving them under my bed and sleeping next to my backpack. In the morning i found there was an available locker squeezed between a bunk bed with two sleeping guests and the wall. When I mentioned they might want to number lockers I was treated as though that were an unreasonable suggestion that would lead to pandemonium. Mattresses are thin foam things and very uncomfortable. Bathrooms constantly stink badly. Soap isn't provided in showers. 'Free coffee' is nes and tea bags are left open and I assume stale. When I suggested providing soap in showers instead of bad coffee and tea the reply was unpleasant and defensive, stating their right to whatever policies they want. The room was extremely noisy at night from street traffic and closing windows would have made it unbearably hot. The address I was provided in the confirmation email was for a different building in the neighborhood and not having data it took me an extra 20 minutes of wandering to find the place. I came away from my experience here exhausted from lack of sleep and upset at being treated as a nuisance. Save yourselves the hassle and find a place to stay with decent management that actually cares about their establishment. That being said the kitchen looked nice.

All awesome but some Ukrainian people having post war trauma at night. Unlocking new ways of snoring. Mixed dorm which is pretty nice. Gender separating is not so civilized. Staff and people are pretty nice. They smile each time when you make an eye contact which makes my day. They know English and polish, they look like they know Russian but not sure. If you don't know English learn it. Don't blame the staff for their not perfect polish. Book before arrival, price will be the same if you use booking dot Com
