I’ll give 1⭐️ because I can’t give this host -5⭐️ and the truth is that the place was really clean, the real problem was the unprofessional manager. We had set the check in time with him days earlier and 40 min before we arrived he texted he wouldn’t be there while we were on a train with no signal, being hard to get it back since it’s not our country and well, signal sometimes fail. So we headed to the b&b following our initial plan agreed with him, on time, and rang the bell when we got there. What we didn’t know was that the manager, who never showed up during our stay, would blame us for that saying he didn’t allow us to ring and stated it wasn’t possible we didn’t have signal in our phones, not even giving us the choice to explain ourselves. He said we broke the rules by ringing the bell, which by the way are not either on Booking, Google or the place itself. He made us feel really bad, he really doesn’t care about guests because or you just give clear instructions or just be there, it’s your business man! Also, he made us send our ID cards pictures via WhatsApp, something which its legality I’m doubtful about and I’m regretting it now. Also, the “room with private balcony” we booked had actually a shared balcony, only accesible through the common area. The blinder was blocked on purpose so you couldn’t access from the room… We had never felt this way at any hosting at all. By the way, after writing this review my husband got a text from the owner warning him about me from man to man!!! Hilarious

Good location of the house, nice rooms and bathrooms. The girl who welcomed us was very kind. Owner practically non-existent and very arrogant. The services are there, but they cannot be used

It was an excellent experience for me. Very kind and helpful owner. Location of the baby, for those who like walking, excellent. Reserved parking space. Close to the station and a stone's throw from Corso Vittorio Veneto, the location allowed us to fully see the artistic lights. The lights were disappointing for me, little more than a patron saint's day illumination with the exception of Piazza Gioia which is truly beautiful and which I would be happy to see again. We had lunch at the Deli bar which was also a good choice. If I were to return to Salerno I would make the same choices again. I hope the artistic lights will return to their old splendor. Thank you
