(October 2023) The staff and cleaning personnel were very helpful and friendly! Location is great, but bring earplugs because it's by a loud street; it was noisy at odd hours (construction at 22:30 & church bells at 7:20 am). The hallways and rooms have a distinct/old smell. There is a nice view of the acropolis but no rooftop garden as was advertised 8n their brochure. One of the biggest inconveniences (if you're 2+ people) was that they give only 1 key and make you leave it at the front desk every time you leave the hotel. The breakfast was very standard and maintained thoroughly. Overall, you get what you pay for.

Budget hotel near the centre of Athens. Rooms are basic but clean. Bathrooms can be a little cramped and entertainingly "Greek". Breakfast is a self service buffet in continental style. The balcony is taken up fully by your air conditioning unit so is in effect not available.

Good hotel,a little in the oldish style,but the location is good. Clean,quiet room. Worth its price. Friendly staff,only problem is the very limited choice of breakfast and bad,almost cold coffee.

10 years ago I was at this place it was absolutely terrifying because of how the water turned black and red and the hotel was unclean and now i decided to visit this again and the room was nice but the walls were dirty in some places one bed was broken in half and the sheet were with stains on the broken bed at some odd hours like 23:07 we heard knocking in the door we opened it and no one was there i called the staffs told them what happened they had no idea and the WiFi was very bad only worked once the Elevator is js awful needs to be renovated sometimes i can hear odd noises aswell we only stayed 4 days only good thing is location it was awesome restaurants near and the water tastes a bit odd like the taste of it its a little odd that i bought bottled water instead thank you the Location was awesome

The night staff was amazing, we arrived in Athens and we lost our boat so we had to stay over a night. They were able to check us in late, with a huge discount I might add. They gave us a lovely small double room in the third floor. It was very clean and tidy despite the fact that we called to ask if they had any rooms available at 24:30. The lovely and friendly night staff waited for our arrival outside the hotel door. He was very polite and accommodating. Once we told him what we had been through with our boat and the airbnb, he gave us a huge discount. The location is great in a very good area. Monastiraki is central Athens with many local places and the best walking distance from Psiri and Plaka. Basically everything you would want to see in Athens. The hotel it self is an old Athenian hotel with a lot of vintage air but it is extremely clean. It gives grand hotel Budapest vibes a la Greek and it is very comfortable. The room was very well sound proofed. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone wanted a budget friendly yet good quality, authentic Athenian Greek hotel that is extremely clean and in an amazing location.
