While "Carolina’s Boutique Apartments" boast a prime location in a picturesque part of Copenhagen and sit within a charming, well-maintained old building, our initial experience was less than ideal. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a strong cigarette smoke odor in our apartment. Although a solution was eventually provided by moving us to another unit, the process was frustrating and lacked proper customer service. The term "boutique" may imply a certain luxury, but the photos online do not accurately reflect the apartment interiors. Notably, there's a lack of seating beyond the beds within the apartment, and the shower's placement results in water splashing onto the toilet and sink. Additionally, cleanliness could be enhanced, as we noted hair on the ceiling of the shower. Some windows and fixtures, like the bathroom and kitchen taps, require maintenance. It's worth noting that the ceilings are quite low, especially at the doorways (below 6ft). However, not all apartments are located in the attic of the house, so others might have higher ceilings. Positively, the kitchen is well-equipped, the bedding is very comfortable and the ambiance of the apartment is cozy. Given its competitive price point in the area and its commendable location, it could be a suitable choice for those willing to overlook certain inconveniences. However, potential guests should be aware of the aforementioned issues to ensure their expectations are met.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Entirely unresponsive host. They wouldn’t respond to a single message we sent them. I told them the place was filthy and it was poorly insulated and we were constantly cold inside. Here were just a few things I had to deal with: - giant hair balls from someone else in the bathroom -dirty toilet seat -dirty cups and plates -kitchen sponge with someone else’s food on it -Clogged bathroom sink -missing blinds in the main room To add insult to injury, they even sent a message reminding us to clean up after ourselves after ignoring all of our concerns. STAY AWAY
