Basic but comfortable just for a night or two. My TV didn't work but the friendly & helpful guy on the desk moved me to another room with no fuss. Comfortable bed, clean & warm single room with en suite. No frills, good value for money & great location. Will definitely return!

The hotel is ideally located close to the train station, bus and underground Golders Green. Access to the center by bus takes about 40 minutes. Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Clean rooms, clean towels and bed linen. The rooms definitely need renovation, but at this price it's OK.

During my stay, I encountered some cleanliness issues that greatly affected my overall impression of the place. First and foremost, I found female hair on the sheets, which was quite off-putting and raised concerns about the thoroughness of housekeeping. Additionally, the condition of the floor was far from satisfactory, as it appeared dirty and not well-maintained. These hygiene issues significantly marred my stay and left me with a negative impression of the hotel's cleanliness standards. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements to ensure a more pleasant experience for future guests.

AVOID. This hotel is very, very, very run down and in need of a total refurbishment or knocking down and starting again. We arrived to find Reception was locked and no one answered the door bell. A handwritten note advised to ring out of hours a stated mobile number. Which I did and was duly advised to wait five minutes as Receptionist was at the shops. When they did arrive was shocked at the condition of the Reception, even the keyboard was covered in a thick layer of dust- have you no pride in keeping something so simple clean! The room (number 14) had a strange smell which we found came from a carrier bag full of empty beer cans and food waste in the wardrobe! The room was very rundown and tired, the fan provided was covered in dust. The tea making facilities consisted of a kettle, 2 paper cups, coffee sachets and sugar. No spoon, milk or teabags- very poor. The windows were filthy, shower hard to adjust. I could go on. It would seem that cleaning and maintenance is non-existent. On a positive note beds were comfortable, however sheets were stained. I know this is a budget hotel but surely there are limits! I feel utterly duped by your website advertising this hotel - SHAME ON YOU!
