We had high hopes for our stay at Cesar Palace but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The hotel lied about the duration of the swimming pool renovation which ruined our entire vacation. We were told it would only take 3 days and we were already not very happy as we made it clear to the hotel that the external pool was the main reason for our stay. That's why they proposed to upgrade our room, but it ended up being a deceitful offer, because upon our arrival, the hotel staff informed us that the pool renovation would take 15 days, which was four times longer than what was initially communicated. The staff was unprofessional, even calling our room at midnight. The room itself was lacking in quality with issues such as humidity and broken amenities. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that despite the hotel clearly lying to us and ruining our vacation, they denied the truth and did not offer any refund or compensation. This level of dishonesty and lack of accountability is unacceptable and only adds to the frustration of the entire experience. After doing some research, we found out that we were not alone in our experience. Several other people here on Google Reviews shared similar stories about the hotel's lack of honesty and professionalism. It's clear that this is a recurring issue with the property, and we feel obligated to warn others so they can avoid the same disappointment and frustration.

My husband and I had a wonderful time. We arrived 3hrs before check in time and they allowed us to have a room. The staff and subordinate staff are very kind and always ready to help. It’s walking distance to a big mall and cinema place…a beautiful location close to everything you need. We loved that staff understood and could speak English . We loved the hotel and would definitely come back or refer a friend. Thanks to Amin, Hania, Chefs and entire staff team generally

TL;DR: Wannabe premium. Pros: - Setup / layout of pool in the middle and rooms around it is brilliant (close to room, providing enough shade for people that want it) - Chilling at the pool. - nice breakfast buffet. Cons: - took a swim in the pool with swimming goggles. A lot of stuff floating on the ground. - bathroom fossets set up in a way so the drain can't be operated property. - Loud music until 2am. - A lot of staff, who is lacking basic Hotellerie background (i.e. saying thanks when you get tipped, not staring at guests chilling at the pool, chewing stuff while walking around serving guests at breakfast room). - A lot of broken stuff in the room (drainage not closable, ripped off/broken corners). - AC is smelly (I assume that's why the spray perfume). 3 stars because price was high (1200 dirham) in relation to other local stuff.
