After an early check-out form of another, nearby resort we were lucky to get a villa here on short notice at the busiest time of the year. The villa we stayed at is located on the hill and from what I gather is a very good location, as it's a fairly quiet and beautiful area and the resort itself has everything you need, private beach, pool, good restaurant and beautiful spots for taking pictures. I would suggest adding blackout curtains because of the morning sun and put a lounger on the terrace as it has plenty of space for one for those who want to sunbathe or just relax. Otherwise a very good value stay 👍🏻

Our room had bed bugs, safe didn't work and front door lock didn't work at beginning. Couldnt get a refund or a new room so went back to Aiyapura resort. Aiyapura 5/5 recommended.

Great stay at Chai Chet. The room was simple but clean, with a good bed and a nice shower. The location was fantastic! Right on a little peninsula with the sea on both sides. Very good sleeping with the sound of the waves so close. Staff are friendly and helpful and everything is super clean.

Really nice resort, with amazing little villa, overlooking the sea. Beautiful sunset spot at the end, with a natural pool formation with rocks… Very clean area, beautiful vegetation, really nice pool… (I wish the pool bar was open tho, it’s really cool with the seat in the pool 😇). Food at restaurant is nice. Staff is really friendly & helpful. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the breakfast, it’s really Thai food breakfast… if you like sweet breakfast or no spicy breakfast you have to go somewhere else. Just 1 day it was croissant but that’s it. No cocktails on the menu either.

This is my third time staying at this resort- first time about 10 years ago. Yet, even though the pandemic, Chai Chet has stayed beautiful and well maintained. The location is amazing having both a beach and a private rocky point on the water. The pool and restaurant were both well maintained. The breakfast was satisfactory- wish there was more Thai food, but they are trying to satisfy western tastes (who often don't appreciate good Thai food.) The room was great with soft beds and good water pressure. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again next time we return to Kho Chaing. Thank you
