Our stay at Charlie's was a complete disappointment. The check-in process was chaotic and we were forced to change apartments, trying multiple codes before finally gaining access. Once inside, we were greeted by a filthy apartment with dust on every surface and a yellow stain on the ice in the fridge. To make matters worse, the living room was infested with ants and the AC was not working, making the place unbearably hot. The internet was also not working, forcing us to use all of our data to contact the customer service agent. We had booked a 3-bedroom apartment but were given a 2-bedroom instead, and when we pointed this out to the agent, he dismissed our concerns and said that there was nothing available for us. The apartment was run down and in disrepair, with broken floors and a broken mirror. The top floor window did not close properly, adding to the already long list of issues. No solution was provided and we were forced to leave the reservation. We are now waiting for a refund.

Terrible service. We arrived in the evening. The WiFi wasn’t working and neither the TV streaming, consequently. I contacted the managers via WhatsApp (the only way). They asked me to locate the router in the apartment, disconnected it, and reconnect it. That didn’t solve the problem. They said that they were going to send someone the day after. When I arrived in the next evening the WiFi was working, but I can’t tell if they fixed it, as I didn’t receive any notification. Then the toilet got clogged. I contacted them again and they said that they could only send someone the day after, so I went out and got a plunger to fix it myself. Apart from the location, the apartment isn’t super great. The towels and toiletries are cheap, the bed is small for a couple, the mattress and pillows are horrible. Two nights sleeping there and a backache is guaranteed. There’s no garage to keep the car safe, in a city where 40,000 cars are stolen every year. For a little more you can get a decent hotel, much less back and headaches, and more time to work or enjoy your trip

We were never able to check-in. The reservation was canceled and nobody had the decency to tell me via email or whatever. We spent two hours talking to an inefficient What'sApp service. Terrible terrible check-in process. They couldn't even try giving me another room, or charging my international credit card, which works everywhere except here. My sister had had the same exact problem the past week, except she was in the streets for over 5 hours trying to resolve the issue. The rest of my family was able to check-in and stay there, but not without problems as the toilet was clogged in one of the rooms. Another guest passed by us and said: "Are you having problems to check-in? This place is terrible... No assistance at all, bathroom problems all the time, entrance problems all the time." Managing a "flat" from far away is cheap for the business owners, but they don't understand the level of attention required for managing such type of business well... They are true incompetents at the service level. It's simply absurd the lack of communication, difficulty to reach them, delay in responding, and disrespect towards their guests. They're just not ready to be in this industry, and not prepared to receive international guests AT ALL. If you have the option to stay somewhere else, do that. One other thing to mention is that the one good and relevant review you see here is from someone who works at Charlie: Gustavo Hesse. Just look him up on LinkedIn.

Super tight room. I had problems arriving at the hotel, as the password provided by the administration did not give access to the room. I spent about 30 minutes waiting to resolve the situation. Furthermore, upon entering the apartment, I came across someone who opened the door while I was in the room. The location is privileged! I didn't think the cleanliness of the room was good either.
