We really enjoyed our stay here! District 11 isn't as lively as the city center but it's very easy to get to the center with a Vienna City pass or equivalent because all forms of transportation are nearby and cheap. The hosts and staff were all very friendly and ready to assist with anything we needed. Great communication throughout for me and my family. We have a large car and were concerned with parking, so the staff called a partner garage to check for spaces and height restrictions. A staff member walked with my husband to our truck and assisted him the whole way to the garage to make sure we could get settled in as soon as possible. The building might be a little old, but everyone there does there best to make your stay comfortable and affordable - just communicate with them to get something in the aparment fixed or to get extra cushions or blankets. The elevator is a little bit small so you might need to make a couple trips for luggage.

Pricey furniture. So be aware of every little scratch on it and on the walls, doors when you enter the room. And you need to record all of them to protect yourself. Because they will make up things to force you to pay with your deposit even though you know well that you didn’t make any damages. We lost more than 200 euro for nothing. In addition, whenever you pay anything, ask for a document. Because they will not record it and then claim you didn’t pay. When you’re leaving, they will take it from your deposit again. Some rules were made on the way. Such as, they said clearly (as stated in the booking) that there is no cleaning during the stay unless we asked for it and paid. However, a month into our stay they imposed cleaning once a week, and asked us to be out of the apartment in that time. As we refused to do so, we had to be there and wait while the cleaner was barely cleaning but instead she was counting glasses, forks, touching the kitchenware and opening closet and personal drawers. Plus, she was giving orders like asking us to remove our stuff so that she can “clean”. She wanted us to leave so we stayed in a balcony for an hour, waiting for her to finish. The supposed reason was our playful dog who was however put immediately on the leash and kept away from her. After the cleaning, the room was nothing cleaner than before. Additionally, when we first arrived there was a full bag of garbage in the kitchen cabinet, dirty socks in the closet and candy wraps on the floor. Moreover, the sheets, blankets, and towels were all taken away because we wanted to wash them by ourselves instead of paying 10 euro each time. So we had to buy our own for the stay. None of these was stated or written while booking the room. Instead, it was stated that those were included in the booking. In addition, there was no microwave as claimed. We waited for days to get one. The other things written such as salt and pepper were not provided as well. They asked us to buy for ourselves. Check-in and -out issues: Official check-in was from 2pm. We agreed on approximate time of check in, and as we were arriving to Vienna we sent message and tried to call to confirm it but haven’t received a reply. As we came to the apartment building, we were let in but couldn’t go to the room because Christian was not there. After shorter waiting he arrived but our room was not ready, so we were sent to another room to wait while they clean our room. After about an hour it was still not done and they asked us to wait more. We haven’t receive any special apology for that. For our last day, we had plans for the time between check out and the train, but as the fight about deposit and made-up damage of the table started, we were left there waiting and wasted our time before the train on that. Last reminder: Try to communicate with them only through your booking platform in order to keep the proves, including the damages you find in the beginning.
