Checked in between 17 Jan to 22 Jan 2024. We booked the double room and was very pleased with our stay. The room was well maintained and clean. The bathroom was exceptionally large and well equipped. Sound proofing of the room was good. Will definitely be back for sure.

A very classic look and feel to a different era of time. Although there are some modern elements, making one feel invited, it lacks the modern, user friendliness that it could offer. The bathroom is dated, with dark, non-inviting colours. A hand shower, in addition would be beneficial in the shower and bath tub area. The beds needs upgrading to firmer mattresses. There wasn't any options for TV, except the basics of what SABC offers. When we did find a movie, the channel wasn't clear enough for viewing pleasure, hence the TV remained off. There wasn't a Porter or trolleys available. However, the rest of the employees, made our stay feel comfortable, especially the friendliness of the staff at the restaurant. Perhaps a few more additions to breakfast would be an option, allowing for more variety.

The room was small considering I booked for 2 adults and a child . There was 1 double bed for 3 of us to sleep on. The shower was not working properly. Everything else was fine . The service at the Cafe was good. The hotel would be more suitable for business travel not for families.
