Absolute gem! Quiet location, despite being so near to the Altstadt. Clean rooms, simple, safe and classy. The staff are very kind and considerate, and the luggage storage was super helpful! My favourite place to stay in Köln, I'll definitely be back.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. They helped make our quick trip so very enjoyable. Parking was easy. Luggage storage helpful. We were able to walk to all the sites as well as utilize public transportation.

It was very pleasant experience for one night, from the check-in to check-out, staff was very welcoming. Location is great, 5 minutes walk from the central station and 8 minutes to the Christmas market. Also accessible to so many attractions like the Chocolate Factory and museum. Restaurant is very cozy and breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations, I was not expecting such service and buffet. Rooms are very basic but more than enough for one night especially with the coffee machine which is important to me.

Nice place, but can't recommend due to construction. The ongoing construction outside makes staying here a poor choice. The workers begin around 7am each day, and the machinery is loud enough that having the windows closed does nothing. Maybe on the other side of the building was okay, but staff gave us room 105, looking straight into the construction (which is major and doesn't look like it'll be done any time soon). Also gets noisy at night with people outside the downstairs restaurant. Cleaning staff are not being super thorough - there was someone's dusty old sock behind the armchair, was pretty obvious to spot. Other than that, it was a large and comfortable room, with a lovely bathroom. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had, highly recommended. Nice location - easy walk to the main town, but away from all the bustle, and being out of the old town meant the restaurants around weren't so touristy. Once the huge construction is done this place will probably be great!
