One of the most basic places I’ve ever visited. However, perfect location for visiting the Amman sites and across from a very good restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner, late-night snack) and very friendly Abbas behind the desk letting you (check) in at night. The place is clean-ish, beds are good, shower gets warm (have little patience).

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was right in the heart of Amman, and was a walking distance from a couple of the major tourist attractions like The Amman Citadel and the Roman theater. It was also in close proximity to some of the country's highest rated restaurants like Hashem. The rooms I stayed in were well ventilated and the bathroom was also very clean. The best parts though were the owner, Fouad, his son, George and the rest of the staff. They were very honest, and went above and beyond for my friend and me. They personally took us in their rides to tourist locations and made sure we were okay at all times. I highly recommend this hostel/hotel and I doubt I would have been able to enjoy Jordan to the extent I did if it was not for the help of the wonderful people here.

Nice place! It served our needs both visits to Amman for three nights total. It’s in a great location near the citadel and the Roman theatre and the Jordan museum. Plus there are delicious food options nearby. The staff is really nice and the shower is hot. Good price and a good place. Highly recommended.

For our last night in Amman we stayed at the Cliff and it was the best decision. The Hotel is well located in the downtown and very close to the vegetable market, the citadel and the roman theater. We arrived very early at 11am and were able to check in already. The Staff and the Manager are friendly and helpful beyond measure. We felt very welcome, enjoyed our stay and will always come back to the Cliff Hotel. Greetings, Nataly and Marcus
