The natural wood, design, furnishings and comfort throughout this cozy hotel has made it our favourite stop en route to/from Vancouver from Alberta. Situated on a lookout point just outside of Revelstoke, it offers a scenic and quiet location, and consistently welcoming and friendly staff. Since we are dog owners, we are always thrilled with the great lengths to which staff go to make us feel as though we belong. We loved sitting by the fire in the lounge with our two English Setters where two exceptionally helpful and accommodating staff served an excellent dinner, drinks and wine and the next morning, a hearty breakfast. In the surrounding woods there are terrific trails for walking and enjoying the peace and quiet. The corner rooms with jacuzzi tub are perfect, especially if you have pups with you as there is also a good sized balcony. In short, Unbeatable!

My apologies that I had not written a review until now. Our hockey team stayed here for a tournament in October. The staff were absolutely amazing to work with to coordinate the reservation and the food selections for the entire weekend. It is a beautiful hotel and a great location. A special thank you to Adam, Jaime and Chelsea for all they did to make this a fantastic weekend for our elite hockey team.

We stayed in Coast Revelstoke for 2 nights and we loved it! The staff was nice, the location was convenient and the hotel had a very cozy vibe. The bartender in the restaurant was very friendly and easygoing yet still professional. Few things I want to point out (not affecting my stay or rating :) Thermostat was tricky to operate and the bathroom door couldn't be locked (sliding doors, no lock). I loved their wooden lounge area on the main floor, it had that mountain vibe. We would come back :)

This is one of our favourite places to stay when we have the opportunity to get away. This time it was high season, so everything was open. The hotel was buzzing with guests, and it was delightful to sit in the lounge, enjoying the view while we watched all the happy people. The food was awesome (we had the Vodka, Prawn, & Chorizo pasta… soooooo good) in the dining room, and the French toast we had for breakfast was lovely. The room was clean, the beds perfect, and the extras we requested were in the room when we arrived. Though we left our dog at home this trip, it was so fun to encounter all the different dogs staying in the hotel. We highly recommend the Coast Hillcrest Hotel for any romantic getaway.

The location of this place is unreal and the views are worth writing home about. The food was A1, and Mike our server was the same. Where this story deviates from all around awesome is the lack of a fire, despite the full wood piles and working fire place. I feel that season is irrelevant to the wants of customers in some respects, in specific, as it is now shoulder season and snow was upon us in the high elevations, and 3 degree temps on the ground. Therefore, the lack of the fire both inside and outside of the lodge was a big drag. Additionally, there is a pool table in the big and beautiful lounge area but…. you have to pay to use it. It’s a coin operated pool table… super strange and an all around bust of a move that further dampened the vibe of the lodge. The rooms were nice, but seriously, the lack of fires, and the fact that the pool table, which is a centre piece to the lounge and atmosphere of the lodge, was not accessible in a stay that cost well over 200 dollars CAD for each of us. I suggest getting on top of these things and you’ll have people that are way more excited to stay again. Cheers.
