My mother and I stayed at Cocorico Luxury Guesthouse as a part of a mother/daughter trip to Portugal and we had a really lovely experience. Our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, very quiet and impeccably designed. We had a large balcony where we could take in the sounds of the city with a glass of wine in the evenings or a cup of coffee in the mornings, and the room was well-appointed with thoughtful touches at every turn. The bathroom was beautifully designed with bespoke stained glass and tile details, and it was well stocked with helpful amenities, as well as a double vanity. The reception and adjoining restaurant were just as impeccably designed as our room, and staff members were always ready and eager to assist us with a friendly smile when we had questions about nearby restaurants and attractions. Similarly, breakfast service was a highlight every morning. We were always met with a smile from the staff and a beautiful array of pastries, jams, fruits and cheeses along with a choice of eggs and coffee prepared to our preferences. Both my mother and I agreed that we would absolutely choose to come back and stay again, although it would also make for a very romantic couples’ getaway. With many choices for accommodations in Porto, this would absolutely have to be our preference - there just is nothing better than a boutique guesthouse experience.

Very beautiful hotel with high ceilings and very large shower. The staff was very kind and accommodating with our late check in . The breakfast was amazing for being included fresh fruit eggs pancakes. Walking distance from all the tourist attractions ! Highly recommended staying here

Excellent option for a stay in Porto. Beautiful and spacious rooms and patio. The hotel location is a little off the most touristic areas, which we found convenient to explore the latter and other interesting neighborhoods of the city. Everything was within walking distance. Staff was super helpful and kind. Our room was on the street, which can be noisy when windows are open. Windows closed has solid soundproofing and the quiet A/C helped a lot. Breakfast was very good but could be a bit more diverse for folks like us who staid over several nights. Overall, one of the best options for a stay in romantic Porto.
