I had quite a disappointing experience during my stay at COCO shuku Nakano. The room was not clean and had a lingering odour of cigarettes. In particular, I was appalled at how unclean the sofa bed was. There were multiple stains on the sofa, as well as on the floor around the sofa. Moreover, there were no bedsheets or blankets provided for the sofa bed. When I requested sheets, I did not receive a response. There was also a lot of dust in the A/C and throughout the room. I am not sure when the room was last cleaned. On a positive note, this hotel is conveniently located near the Shin-Nakano station. There is also a variety of restaurants nearby. Regrettably, I will not consider this hotel for future stays.

I see that it has bad reviews but I honestly don't see anything bad about this place. They complain that they don't clean the room every day but I prefer that to them coming in every day to see what I have in my room. The accommodation is incredible, quite spacious and leaves you with everything you need for your days in Tokyo. It has its own bathrooms and a shower, all separate, and three pretty good beds. They leave you everything you need such as enough towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It has a dryer in the bathroom and the hotel has a washing machine if you need it. Besides, I liked the proximity it has to the subway and the Nakano neighborhood is beautiful to explore on foot. I only gave it 4 stars because if you carry a large suitcase I warn you that you have to climb several stairs and that is tiring sometimes.
