I had a great stay at the Colnbrook Lodge. It's so cozy and comfortable, and you can't beat it for value and convenience. Yes, there's some airplane noise, but if you're staying just a few bus stops from Heathrow that's to be expected. With my window shut it didn't bother me at all! The Italian restaurant downstairs is TO DIE FOR. All around, a welcoming place to stay.

This was an affordable, clean, and comfortable place to stay the night before my flight out of Heathrow. Checking in was quick and easy. I actually slept so well that I woke up 30 minutes past my alarm! The bus to Heathrow is right across the street, making this an amazing choice for those who want to lessen the stress of airport traffic. Next time I hope to be able to sample the Italian cuisine downstairs!

Arrived at the "lodge" about 6pm, the restaurant was closed but a few kitchen staff were in, they told me to wait while someone came. 15 minutes later I rang and text a number on the door, I was text back and told to make my way up to room 3, no directions or politeness involved. At this point it was £40 a night and I wasn't expecting much. But at least I would have hoped for running cold water! Hot water was plentiful but it doesn't quite quench the thirst after a 5 hour drive. But at least I could lock the door easily, or so I thought. 5 mins later the door was finally locked which built up even more thirst! I popped out to the shops for some fresh water and had the same fight with the door lock upon return. At least in the morning I could have a nice warm shower, wrong, at some point during the night it was the hot waters turn to take a break and the shower was freezing cold! Also the pull light switch to bathroom was broken and the extractor fan sounded like a meat grinder. I don't think I'd stay again and I don't think anyone else should either. Spend a few extra quid and get a better place.

Well, what can i say about this place... don't bother booking. Upon arriving we were told the door "sticks". . It doesn't just stick, it locks you out. When we complained the owner they cleaned the lock with a kitchen cleaner and said that was all you could do. The windows were covered in a plastic frame so they couldn't open. We had to sleep with the door unlocked as we were worried we wouldn't be able to get out in the event of an emergency. No cold water was available in the room, both the cold and hot on the both the sink and shower shot hot water out of them. Paint was peeling off the walls, it was a state. The owners couldn't have cared less about the state of the room, and as we paid in cash we couldn't even get a refund. Best thing about the place was sitting in the carpark watching planes come into land! 0 stars... do not stay here or bother wasting your money.
