If I could I would give a 6starts to this location. Magnificent tourist attraction. Long and interesting history. Incredible architecture. Highly, highly recommended. Must buy your ticket in advance and online. There would be a long line even during low season.

We were so lucky to get the underground tickets when we visited the Colosseum. We got to see more than the regular or arena floor ticket. We have to wait for the employee at the Colosseum to lead our group of visitors assigned to the same schedule. The group is about 15 people. The lady who led our group spoke good English and she was very informative about the history of the Colosseum. I enjoyed my visit to the Colosseum. Especially the underground tour is the best if you have the chance to get it. The underground tour includes visiting the arena floor and the regular sections for all the ticketed visitors.

Such wonderful and rich history to see when visiting. Our guide was quite lovely, and gave us some fantastic information. Unfortunately it was pouring rain when we visited the night tour, but still incredibly worth it. The stormy weather added a layer of ambiance to our tour. Absolutely would recommend to anyone that loves history

A spectacular and monumental place. It’s the story before your eyes. There’s a lack of adjectives. Come in and take it easy. Photos are consequences of what you are able to see and imagine. The ticket is cheap and I recommend you choose the ticket that gives access to the galleries. Walk around and use the subway as a means of transport. And be sure to do the Palatine and the Roman Forum. I’ve been there twice and it’s worth every penny. The sunset here is beautiful.
