Was awaken by fire alarm at 4 and 430. Not the fault of the hotel. Staff. Wasn't happy about the alarms either! Elevator smelled like pee. But the room was decent. Had cookies when we got there. Both staff we interested with were good.

I am currently staying here and the customer service by most of the desk staff has been entirely unhelpful to my needs as a guest. 1. My tv remote wasn’t working the day I arrived. I explained the batteries seemed fine. Almost no assistance from the staff to repair or replace. The back is missing from the remote and batteries routinely fall out. I spent 30 minutes finding out online how to reprogram the remote to work with the tv in my room. 2. Heard a guest ask if the hotel could possibly make some popcorn ( they had a machine in the lobby/common area with popcorn in it the first night we arrived!). The staff said no and that “ …there isn’t anymore popcorn to make….” 3. A horrendous smell of sewer most evenings our hallway and the other morning the elevator smelled as if something had died in it. It still has the same smell days later. The place is very unsanitary/dirty overall and from day one my room has never felt “clean”. I hope the manager sees this review as this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in in over 30 years. I asked about laundry soap a short time ago as I am here for work and need to do laundry. For three days there has been a vending machine in the room out of laundry detergent. I asked the desk about it tonight…..I bet you can guess the response. Zero help and no customer service.

Me and my fiancé frequent this establishment often,but on this occasion we were treated very poorly. The front desk clerk was very rude and vulgar. Her mannerisms were not what I expected as customer service, she escalated a conversation all because she could. The fact that me and my party were checking out a little late didn’t require being mistreated. I was on my birthday weekend pre-celebration and was contemplating staying another day but the front desk clerk decided to pummel the room door on which I didn’t want to stay. And charged me extra but didn’t charge my party anything. Also I informed her there were no towels and was informed she’s not housekeeping. The clerk was belligerent rude and disrespectful and I still haven’t heard back from the GM after I spoke to her. No more star for this place!!!!!!

I must explain my 3 star review as the staff was great. The owners showed up and they were very nice too. The 3 stars come from the entire first floor had been flooded the night before so they couldn't put anyone on that floor (very understandable). However the entire place already had a mold smell brewing and was being covered up with a chemical smell that was very unpleasant add in the mold smell too. I ended waking up very stuffed up and got a nose bleed later in the day. I'm hoping the problem had been removed and things are back to good for them. They should have been more up front about their issues or closed for a bit until things were all good.
