I had a pleasant stay at the Comfort Suites in downtown Montreal. The room was spacious and clean, which was a great start to our visit. The breakfast offered was excellent, and the service we received from the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We did encounter a minor hiccup initially with blankets for the sofa bed having large holes, but the staff promptly corrected this issue. The only suggestion for improvement would be to add chairs to the balcony to enhance the experience. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was adequate, we stayed elsewhere closer to airport our first night in Montreal and it was disappointing. The service was bleak--but when we arrived at Comfort Suites we were greeted by Puma on front desk and she was a breath of fresh air. Funny, Sweet and she deserves a raise. She made our visit from her adorable personality to answering our zillion questions. All the guests in the hotel were so pleasant and personable to each other. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Montreal.

The room itself a bit outdated and narrow but the furnishings were brand new and clean. The bathroom was a great size and the addition of the balcony on the front of the hotel was incredible. It was so much fun to watch the night life across the street after a long day in the city. The fitness room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was okay. It is a nice distance from major attractions in Montreal including a 10 minute walk if that to the Bell Center and about a half hour walk to the Old Port.

Rooms were clean and nice for the price. Breakfast was ok (avoid the egg thing and get the pancakes). The elevators are tiny and terribly slow. I highly recommend you get a room on the lower floors or you’re going to be waiting a long time for an elevator (that has room for you). Especially if you visit during a time when the bell centre is hosting a big event. Lower floor, take the stairs.

The room is a grungy little hole. The carpet felt like we were in the dungeons. It was small for the price that we paid. The bathroom was tiny also. The fresh towels had strands of hair. The breakfast was horrendous. For a hotel that is 12 storeys high, the dining area was for a small motel. Guests were lining up first thing in the morning. The staff should have all the food ready, rather than have the guests ask for stuff. The breakfast sausage was not ready and instead some other cold sausage was available. Every item looked out of place or disorderly. Prepackaged muffins made it look like it was ordered from a food truck. Pancakes were miniature size which fell off the conveyor belt with no tray at the end. The cereals were placed where guests were eating. It was unhygienic. The breakfast items were limited. Parking is exorbitant. Will not go back to the place for sure.
