Oct. 2023, after one year I back again in this hotel. Service was significantly improved with respect for previous visits. Because of daily tight schedule, I asked to anticipate by 1 hour the opening of the gym. My request was satisfied, and I could enjoy it. There is nothing to complain about.

This was a very disappointing experience. The only good thing - is we were only here for two nights. When we checked into the first room, it smelled like something was rotting in the fridge. We called to get moved. At first, the reception was not willing to help out. Finally, they moved us after three calls. This time, into a smoking & a much more outdated. We just dealt with it at this point because we were tired from traveling and knew it wasn’t that long of a stay. Our one and only full day in Cairo — we needed to get our laundry done. Two large bags, a week’s worth of clothes. I also asked to clean the room. I did everything they asked me to do — before 9 a.m. — Left the knob hangers out & even talked to one of the staff when I left at 8:30 a.m. for our tour. The woman said “no problem.” After a full day at the pyramids & museum, our room was not cleaned nor was our laundry picked up. By no fault of ours, but the hotel is still making us pay “double” the fee for their mistake because it’s express. Even though, I had left at 8:30 a.m. for them to pick up. It’s not just the money — this is just terrible customer service. For as much as they are charging per night, I expected way better. I have traveled many places around the world. This was not a 5-star hotel.

Very poor customer from manager Mustafa. We arrived over 3 hours late @ midnight due to medical emergency on the plane & then one of our suitcases was lost by Egypt air. As on half board asked if meal could be carried forward to another day but he refused point blank. Mustafa stood in reception continually arguing with me & rep from Discover Egypt. This is not 5 star service expected from a 5 star hotel. Inflexible lacking any empathy as it is my wife’s 65th birthday which was has been ruined by Mustafa
