Corallo Rooms was a good choice. I stayed in the large room ( the one with a red wall) and terrace. The room seemed recently refurbished, everything looked very nice. Large and comfortable bed. Very spacious. Location was great, 5 meters from the main shopping street in Salerno. Walking to the beach or ports was a nice walk with views. Sound isolation was really outstanding, it kept the room very quiet all the time. Host was nice and helpful, although it was hard to communicate if you don't speak Italian. The terrace is shared with one more room, and it has no views as it is in an internal open space between buildings. It was disappointing. I missed some practical stuff for such a large room, like something to hang towels, ironing table, a place to put my luggage, or a thing to hang clothes and towels (which is a big plus as you'll need to dry towels and swimsuits during summer) Breakfast is given in a next door bar. The waiters are friendly, but breakfast is limited to one coffee and one croissant.

Not quite as good. Looked better in the pictures. The room was not as clean as requested. The bathroom was newly renovated but overall it needs to be cleaned more properly. The air conditioning is way too loud and fluid is leaking out. The television hangs underneath. I had some concerns. The room was otherwise rather dark. Opening the window was a bit difficult. After all, everyone was very friendly.
