The hotel is clean and rooms are spacious with everything you need. Greenery and pool look fantastic, but they use way too much chlorine in the water that swimming without goggles can be unpleasant. Restaurant is good. Very friendly waiters and good choice of food. Hotel has a motorbike rental included and a brochure for pre selected tours. Sadly I had some trouble with a receptionist that didn't really understand English that well. Besides that a clean and relaxed hotel outside the busy towns in close proximity to a beach (at this time in construction)

I had made a reservation on the Booking website, in order to stay at this establishment during 4 nights, in December 2022. The day of my arrival, I asked directly to the front desk staff if I could cancel the two last nights, because I encountered a personal problem. The staff was very kind and confirmed to me that it was okay, that these two nights would be refunded within 3 working days, directly on my mastercard. I waited for this period, then wrote to Cottage Village on Booking to warn them that I still had not received the refund, and the staff replied that finally, I had to wait a month or 45 days, so that the money arrives in my bank account. This deadline has now way passed, and I see that I still haven't received my refund, and I saw that the staff has deleted our discussion on the Booking website. I try to call them, but no one answers me about my problem. So I wrote them an email but no one answered me neither. The employees and managers of this establishment are dishonest, it's a shame.

We stayed at this resort for 6 nights and I have a mixed review whilst staying here. The rooms are good standard for what you pay for, bathroom smells like urine from presumably people peeing in the shower, but the resort is lovely, very picturesque and the 2 pools are nice. We had to change rooms due to a electrical fault in the room but the staff didn’t show great customer service, it was pretty difficult to talk through google translate - no complementary drink for the change of rooms when it was pitch black outside, so wasn’t happy about that but not much you can do about it. Location is good, supermarket across the road and a few places to eat and drink around. Free bike rental is a god send and very cheap motorcycle hire so very happy with that! My biggest disappointment was the food at the restaurant primarily breakfast, it was not a lot on offer and was that great taste wise. Overall I would say my rating is 6/10, I do thank the hotel for the stay as it was nice but I’m not so sure I will return

The place was absolutely amazing, really spacious, super friendly staff, the breakfast was good with many options for the buffet, two really big swimming pools and the rooms were very clean and bright. I extended my stay, and the value for money was a big plus. The location is also great, and it has a super market right in front of it. Less than 10-minute walk to the beach. I would really recommend this stay, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived, and they even upgraded my room to a bigger one. The location is far from the main town, so it's quiet and calmer. But if you rent a scooter, this is not a problem and it was what I was looking for.
