An average hotel, could definitely use a renovation. My room was a standard two doubles beds, the bathroom sink faucet was loose and the shower curtain barely reached the tub, and a part of the desk was also loose. I felt I had to pay attention to a lot of things to make sure I didn’t break anything. When I got in the room there was a strong smell of cleaning products so I ran the air for half an hour and it cleared up quickly. Good location and a big parking lot but you have to pay to park in it. If you’re only staying here a night or two it’s fine, and if you’re a Marriott loyalty person don’t expect anything too much.

Google should start allowing 0 stars, especially for some place like this.The disturbing fact about the two people in the bistro is, they selectively serve the customer. Me and my friends family were always treaded rude for whatever reason those two working in the bistro had in their mind. Not sure how different we are from a few others they were serving to their table. Our food was put on the side and we have to find it by ourselves. They did their best to insult us. But these are people who don't even appreciate their job. They are insulting their job. Overall it's a waste of money trying this Marriott. This is my second Marriott stay in the past few days. The difference is alarming. Not recommended to anyone. Please stay away from this place.

Recently renovated, but the rooms look already run down and need some upkeep. Rooms: classic courtyard decor, but the mattresses felt quite old, uneven, and soft. More surprises in the bathroom. The toilette seat was cracked, the tissue holder fell apart, the vent was half coming off, and there were cracks on the roof of the shower. Service is a work in progress: long check-in line, rooms are attended to every other day even if you ask to get it refreshed (you might get some towels, though). Most unacceptable was that we were not notified that there was an ordinance to avoid tap water. Breakfast: basic bistro, choose a-la-carte, and most of the limited menu was not available on either of the two days we were there. If you have credit because of your loyalty status, the $10 each will not cover any course. Gym: a bright spot. Spacious, above ground (second floor). 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 1 recliner bike - not the latest equipment, but it does the trick and is consistent with the category. Two benches, cable machine, weight rack, and a couple of mats. Location: close to the beach and the convention center.
