I was only here because my connection in midway got delayed and Southwest gave me a free one stay here before my flight the next morning. I had high expectations of Courtyard but I was so wrong. I had previous encounters with Courtyard at different states, but mostly for parking my car to fly. I always thought they’re a decent place to stay looking at their lobbies (which are very impressive and gives the impression of a high-end hotel) but I cannot be more wrong on this day. The check in was smooth. I got into the room and was really disappointed (see the video, although you may not notice anything strange from the video itself). While I’m not claiming anything went bad, I’m only saying that it is not what it looks like. The toilet flush makes weird noises (I was scared it’s gonna break), the sink drain has no cover. It was also strange that I had to go down to the lobby myself to pick up a dental kit. Their dental kit (which I can appreciate for being minimalist to avoid wastage) is rather substandard. The shuttle to and from the airport is not an exclusive Courtyard shuttle but a shared venture between all the hotels in that locality. So don’t be surprised if the shuttle stops and picks/drops passengers frequently.

The proximity to the airport is impeccable. The area in its self is pretty basic there are a few restaurant chains about(stay clear of the Friday’s). You are close to all the attractions but you will contend with traffic. The hotel itself is nice but there were some renovations going on so taking advantage of the pool and other amenities was a no go. They did offer you to go to a neighboring hotel instead. Which is okay seeing how this location is a hotel complex. The rooms were well maintained but definitely in need of updating(I mean get smart tv’s already). The front desk staff were friendly and attentive. The cleaning staff were friendly but not consistent; skipping some cleanings and linen changes in our room. I had to ask for things at times. I never went to the restaurant but it was nicely appointed. Overall I would stay again and recommend it. It’s not the worst you can get but it does lack quality.

Honestly we were here just long enough to crawl into bed, wake up, and catch a shuttle to the airport which was why we're there. But we didn't experience much of the hotel. Rooms were clean, but are about due for a remodel. The staff was kind. It's perfect location if you have a 5 am flight and want to be closer to the airport instead of getting up at 2 am to leave from home (or wherever). There is a free shuttle but it stops at several hotels until they are packed full so keep that in mind for your time line and consider an Uber instead of money isn't an issue.

This location should be ashamed. The staff is great and very accommodating but their rooms are another story. The rooms are old, smelled musty, there are nasty spots all over the floor, the shower was suspect, and I was scared to sleep directly on the bed. I would not sit on the couch even if someone paid me a billion dollars. The lamps were so disgusting that I had to cover them with a towel so I did not have to look at them. The price charged for the room plus the cost to park with limited spots for disabled guest, made me regret staying here. And the cherry on top of everything else they charge for the breakfast. WOW!!!
