I stayed at Courtyard Marriott Midtown Savannah for a month for a business trip. Location is great, easy drive to the historical district without the parking, noise and crowds. The staff are wonderful. They are 5 stars. Helpful, friendly and always go the extra mile to accommodate. My room was nice, clean and the bed was comfortable. It's an older hotel and they have done a great job maintaining. The only reason for the 4 stars (I'd give a 4.5 if I could) is my bedroom unit AC smelled of mildew, whenever it was turned on. Luckily, I didn't need AC while I was there, so I turned it off.

Great stay until we found a roach in our room. Unfortunately it was midnight so we couldn’t pack up and relocate comfortably. There’s not much you can redeem after you find roaches. Great that the parking was only $8

This was a pretty bad experience. The 3 Star Hotel rating really fooled me on the quality of this hotel. Their lobby is nice but the actual room where you will be sleeping is subpar. We found hairs in between the sheets as soon as we were laying down to sleep. My shower literally only had around 10 minutes of hot water before it turned cold. While rinsing my hair I saw a pube hair along with other hairs stuck to the ceiling. Grout and tile is old and dirty looking. Fixtures and door knobs are old and dingy looking. Was woke up in the middle of the night by a woman screaming and a guy talking really loud. Sirens all through the night. This was one stay that I really could not wait to get away from. And yes you will find at the end of your stay that you do pay $8 for parking which is a total mystery. For the price I paid to stay here I could have saved money and had a much nicer experience right down the road.

During my stay, the staff was rude and asked my fiance if he was staying there when he had just went to sit in the lobby. they only asked for his name and room number after accusing him of being homeless and seeking shelter. I understand the ongoing issue is real but going up to guests and outwardly accusing them of being homeless is unacceptable. The rooms, breakfast and everything else was wonderful. I just wish the staff had a more professional tongue.

This gets a 1 star review purely because of the awful customer service staff. There was one amazing lady at the bar but it seemed that everyone else there would rather be dead than working. The people working the desk were useless, slow, and incompetent. It took me 10 additional days to receive a very important package because they were too lazy to even read the label on the box. The hotel itself is what you pay for but I would not support it ever again. Marriott do better. Management needs to visit this place and get it in order.
