Arrived Mid November. Upon entering the room the temperature is 30C. The AC does not function. They claim central AC, but its not even on... The pipes below the sink started leaking when I simply washed my hands. Water all over the bathroom floor. When requesting a new room they gave me a smoking room and the temp was also 29C. Smelled appalling. They claim they do not have any other rooms..... Would not recommend staying here. Bad service and terrible room quality. On top of it all, the rooms and surfaces do not look like they are cleaned properly. Location is good.

Nice hotel whose position is very convenient to visit Ningbo city center. Very classic chinese music in the lobby, spa and swimming pool available. International restaurant available, the helpdesk is willing to offer you every kind of service.

I am here on my vacation with family and booked 3 rooms. Expecting a stay like all my other stays at a crowne plaza and instead got a 2 star at best stay. This started at check in where they could not converse with me due to they did not speak English. Then get to room and was told would get my gold member welcome fruit shortly afterwards. Wife finally got it after calling twice and 6 hours later. Went to pool where told could not swim due to no swim hats in which, there is no notices of nor any other hotel china nor USA, Europe, Japan, Korea, Mexico nor Taiwan has ever made me do. Even night manager could not speak English. On top of this swimming pool was substandard even by cheapest is hotel standards. Definitely making sure IHG corporate knows this is a substandard excuse for a crowne plaza even for a US red roof inn.
