This hotel is all about the views ... which are stunning. A balcony overlooking the caldera means beautiful afternoon sun and views all day. Their breakfast is almost a gourmet delight. The beds comfortable. The service is friendly and fast, but not everyone speaks English. Some sites rate this over 4 stars, but I think that's a stretch. No pool. Lots of stairs, and our balcony was a thoroughfare to the suite below us. Don't expect soft fluffy towels, but they are replaced daily. I would definitely return because of it's perfect location to the town and amenities. But I would wait for it to be on sale.

Me and my partner have just recently stayed at the Grand Suite with outdoor hot tub at Damigos Caldera World which I think is the best room that they have there and it was well and truly worth every penny. The views were absolutely breathtaking, like looking at a postcard, and in our opinion, they are the best views we had seen anywhere all over the island including in Oia. We had a perfect view down into Fira, up into Imerovigli and out looking over the stunning Caldera, including perfect sunset views which were incredible. We loved sitting every morning having breakfast and watching the new cruise ships come in. You have two balconies/outdoor areas with this room, a lower level balcony with a table and chairs set and then the top level with a hot tub and a super comfy round leather padded bed to sunbathe and relax on. The top level was amazing and so private, you are not overlooked by anyone. and there is a canopy too to provide shade from the sun and wind if needed. The location is fantastic, an easy walk into Fira in about 10/15 minutes but out of the way of the hustle and bustle. Even though you are high enough for the views to be incredible, the hotel is still super accessible, literally just off of a road so it was so easy to get in with our luggage or to get picked up by transfers. The staff were absolutely perfect in every way. Gigi, is a diamond. She is one of the most hospitable people we have ever dealt with. Anything you needed, she was there from booking transfers with just 30 minutes notice, making dinner reservations, offering recommendations, providing ice buckets/bottle openers / supplies. You could just whatsapp her and anything you needed would be arranged. The breakfast was lovely too with a good choice and was delivered on time every morning at whatever time you had asked for. We would not hesitate to recommend and cannot wait to visit again. We are missing the views already!

After looking at so many accommodation spots we decided to book with Damigos and couldn’t have been happier. Transfer to and from the airport was booked through damigos, drop off and pick up was right at the door. Gigi on the front desk was very kind and extremely helpful with any info needed during our stay and was able to arrange drop off and pick up of a hire scooter to the accommodation. Breakfast was great and easy. Rooms were very clean and luxurious, we booked room no.2 with side sea view which was fantastic to have a view of the sea but also a view of all the buildings along the cliff. Very good location close to restaurants, cafe’s and shops. A little quieter than centre of Fira. I never wanted to leave the spa! Thank you Gigi and Damigos team

Searched around Santorini and Damigos was the best value for money. All the staff were super friendly and helpful with any questions or airport transfers. We had the Grand Suite #3 with the jacuzzi above. The room finishings are high quality with lots of choice of dimmable lighting. Breakfast was fresh delicious. Close to lots of amenities. And the view is the best in Santorini! Will definitely stay again in the future!

Well, not worth $700 a night. The front desk person was awesome and very nice and helpful. Then things went down hill. The walls are disgusting and floors are dirty, the bathroom has mold and we found a contact lens on the floor, which means, the floors were not cleaned, the bed is hard as a rock, the water pressure is terrible, 2 of the 3 blinds are broken and there is an awning blocking the view of the caldera. We looked back at the pictures and they were totally staged and not at all what reality is. Our bad for trusting the pictures. We will see how breakfast is, tomorrow. Well, breakfast was a huge disappointment. They have nespresso in the room, that does not work, but they serve drip coffee for breakfast. Towels smell like mold but they can’t seem to tell the difference. Overall, do not stay here unless all of the things above are on your bucket list. There are plenty of other options.
