I recently stayed at Demetra Hotel Rome, first week of October 2023. Not what we expected from a 4 star hotel! No lobby, front desk is located on the second floor of a not so clean building. The rooms are all located 1flight up. The pictures of this "hotel" is not showing you the actual hotel, its the outside building which accommodates another not so wonderful hotel as well as commercial renters. The staircase in the pics that you see is not the actual hotel, its the stairs in the building. The building across the street outside our window was a college exchange dorm for foreign kids. The streets outside our window were filled with tons of trash every day!! Here's the issues we found with this hotel upon check in: 1. checked my sheets and bed mattress cover. They were filled with other peoples hair as well as 2 dead bed bugs. The bottom sheet had a yellow soiled spot. Since it was late, the front desk did nothing about the disgusting sheets. I had to physically pick the hairs and dead bugs with my tweezers!!! 2. The rooms photograph nicely but are not clean. The bathroom did not even have a toilet paper holder so the toilet paper was on the dirty floor of the bathroom at all times. 3. The shower glass doors were not large enough to cover the water that was spilling all over the bathroom when we showered. There was a flood in the bathroom every morning after we showered. 4. The A/C is controlled on the front desk's computer. First couple of nights we were only able to turn the A/C to 20 C and during the night, they turn it off to save energy. The days and nights while we were there were very hot and every time we returned to the room the A/C was off. I had to tell the front desk to turn on the A/C. Absolutely uncalled for!!!! 5. Breakfast was not good at all. The assortment was minimal and was not hotel quality. If your smart, don't stay here at Demetra Hotel Roma. We tried to get another hotel room(up to 880 Euros per night) for the balance of our trip but all hotels were booked.

Really close to the termini! Firstly, the service here is Impeccable! Greeted by the lovely Kate every morning! She does a little catch up with us every morning and shows us where to go, how to get around, and what to eat as a local! All the other staffs are extremely polite and kind too. Which starts your day on the right note! Room is really spacious with daily cleaning services. Nice, modern, and comfortable! Location is perfect with bus stops around, the terminal next door, and 15 minutes walk to the pantheon! Would recommend 💯

I stayed in October, location is great. It’s hard to find the entry to the hotel. Basically it’s apartment building with 2 hotels inside. Room is very dark no sunlight. Breakfast was not that good would’t recommend. There is a cafe on ground floor called Washington, best coffee and deserts so far in Rome. Overall bit overpriced and overrated with stars.

My stay at Demetra Hotel was delightful, with the highlight being the fantastic English breakfast, truly worth the money. Its proximity to Rome Termini station made transportation easy, and the walking distance to buses, taxis, and the metro was convenient. The rooms were clean and modern, and there are restaurants around the hotel. I felt safe and would confidently recommend Demetra Hotel to anyone.

Location is acceptable 10 minutes walk from the station. Easy check in and very friendly staff. Room was tiny, comfy bed and clean bathroom. They kept our luggage for a whole day and the ordered a taxi for us to the airport. we slept in the lobby waiting for the taxi. The one annoying thing was how to find the reception, because there are three hotels in the same building!
