Good value for money. Very happy with the accommodation. Very clean, comfy beds, lots of complimentary coffee, bottled water etc. Few minutes walk from the centre. Local shops, delis in the vicinity. No breakfast as an option and had to self check in but this was clearly stipulated beforehand. So wasn't an issue. Just what was needed for me and the children visiting York.

We were very pleased with our top floor room with 2 double beds. We were all comfortable and the room was clean and well equipped. The location was great as we walked into town each day. The area is lovely with some nice cafes and shops just a little down the road. We paid to park both nights and had no problems with this.

Absolutely amazing. We didn’t pay a lot for our room, and honestly didn’t expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even let us check in a little early due to me having a fall earlier during the day and needing to rest. The room was clean and spacious, and fairly quiet. Beds were comfortable, and clean. The shower was a little small, but very much useable. There were a few maintenance issues when we arrived, but we were told before arrival and they were fixed so fast we barely noticed! Would absolutely recommend and we will be returning!

We stayed at 114 Bishopthorpe Rd Diamond Guest House. It is only a short walk away from tourist attractions. The staff are very friendly. Communication is very good. We shared a 3 bed room. Which was big enough for me n 2 kids (14 n 11). There is a fridge n big TV. A big fan is available. Loads of clean towels. Use of kitchen n dining room with crockery n cutlery n toaster n microwave. A sainsburys local at bottom of road for basics n snacks. Great to stay and felt very relaxed and chilled out with my family. Will stay again and highly recommend.
