I had an incredible stay at Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel in Bali! The beachfront location is stunning, and the staff's friendliness and helpfulness made my experience unforgettable. Despite being maybe over 20 years old, the hotel is exceptionally well-managed, and the rooms are impeccably clean. The breakfast, offering a delightful mix of Western and Eastern cuisine, was fantastic. The swimming pool is a true gem, and "Sokube," the night restaurant and bar, is absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend this oasis for a perfect Bali getaway!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Kartika Plaza Beach Hotel, and I must say it exceeded all our expectations. This trip was particularly special for us as it marked our first family vacation with our toddler, and the hotel played a significant role in making it memorable. One standout feature of the Kartika Plaza Beach Hotel is the presence of an on-site doctor. This amenity provided us with a great sense of security, especially when traveling with a young child. Knowing that medical assistance was readily available on the premises was a comforting factor that added to the overall peace of mind during our stay. The exceptional service of the hotel staff became even more evident when we faced a challenging situation – our belongings were stolen in the mall. The Kartika Plaza Beach Hotel took swift and effective action to assist us. Their support went above and beyond our expectations, turning a difficult moment into a testament to the hotel's commitment to guest well-being. I want to extend a special thank you to Naomi (Duty Manager), Aliyah (kids club), and Rani (buffet breakfast) who really cared for us and our daughter during our stay, you guys made it amazing.

This hotel is situated in the busy area. The hotel is old but well maintained. It is like one stop leisure site. It has 3 restaurants and 3 bars. The lobby is vast and cozy. All staffs is helpful and friendly. The food is great. The room is very spacious and clean. Might come back again someday here.

Disappointing stay. I travelled here with my parents in 1995, now 29 years later I wanted to do that same thing for my kids after using Bali as a transfer spot to other islands. In the past 2 weeks we have had far better rooms for $100-150AUD. We paid $450/night for a family suite, which turned out to be an interconnecting room where on room had no window. It was black 24/7. The second room had a balcony of around 4m2 looking out towards the pool with some water glimpses over the trees The room and general hotel is a 3-4 star, old school Bali hotel. Food prices are way overinflated, drinks seemed fair. Staff as always lovely, breakfast certainly not of a modern hotel standard, crowded from 7:30am and although a lot of choice, quite basic. No bacon in omelettes, coffee from a coffee machine. Downtown south Kuta is a real hole of a place these days. The hotel is best suited to people who like cruise ships. After paying 450/night I had to pay $1 every time to park my motorbike 150m away from the lobby, no guest parking of any type. The staff treated me like an alien because I choose to use my own transport. Over all - Dated, heavily overpriced rooms, overpriced food, ordinary location, friendly staff, nice large pool, too many smoking areas. Definitely will not be back

Everything in this hotel is a 5 star except the rooms are 1 star. The location, the reception, the lobby, the hotel garden, the swimming pool & the bar are perfect but the rooms are very old and need to be renovated completely. The towels are so smelly and stinky. I asked them for a baby cot and it was so dusty and not clean my baby got sick after that. They must consider hygiene as a top priority. I will never repeat my mistake and book in this hotel again.
