Pros: The room is clean, spacious and has air con. The room we had was located away from the busy road, so we were not disturbed by the street noise (as I read in other reviews that the noise was terrible). The bathroom is clean and very large. The high ceilings are beautiful. The hotel is located on a main road, so perfect location. Cons: The room indicates a fridge in the room, this is not true. Even after requesting one as I have personal medication, a fridge was not placed in the room. The breakfast is not in the hotel, it is at Restaurante Daniele (not Bar Daniele) which is only a 1 min walk away. The cafe brings you food & drink without asking your dietary requirements or what you would like. The cafe itself doesn’t have good reviews. They made salami toast, margarita pizza slices and 6 sugary pastries. As I’m a vegetarian & not a fan of sugary foods for breakfast, I had 1 item and left the rest on the table. Such a waste of food. They would greatly benefit from asking guests what they would like. We ended up not going for breakfast for the other 3 remaining mornings. A very strong smell of cigarette smoke each time you walk in the corridors of the hotel. Communication with the hotel was unfortunately a challenge, the amount of times we had to go back and forth just to make sure he (I'd rather not name him) was clear on what we had said had become frustrating in the end. Also he decided to charge me €40 instead of €35 for the taxi just because I wanted a taxi at 5.30am. Also, no housekeeping for the 5 days we stayed.
