This place is literally a joke!! The only good point I can mention is that it's close to the Vatican city for those who want to visit. Rooms are basically a nightmare (at least on the 1st floor) where we booked two rooms. Dirty, old, and super smelly. Oh, and extremely noisy. The WC flush tank takes 10 minutes to get filled. I asked the reception and they think it's normal! 😅 We don't expect a 5-star hotel, but it should have at least the minimums within this price range! I don't recommend this place at all!!

My stay at Domus Getsemani was truly exceptional. The warm and welcoming atmosphere of this guesthouse made me feel right at home. The staff's hospitality and attention to detail were outstanding, ensuring a comfortable and memorable visit. The location, near the heart of Getsemani in Cartagena, offered easy access to vibrant streets and cultural experiences. Overall, my time at Domus Getsemani was a perfect blend of comfort, culture, and authenticity

Dirty, smelly room! I didn’t even want to sleep on that dirty bed with such old covers! It smells like toilet and humidity in the room! It was so noisy that I couldn’t easily sleep. I wouldn’t sleep here again even for 0 euros! I don’t recommend this place at all!

The good: close to the vatican, very safe location, friendly staff (Italian speaking mostly), free coffe & pastry in the morning The bad: LOUD, you hear everything your neighbors are doing, your bed will shake every time they slam their door, metal gate at night is a nightmare. Bring earplugs and don't stay in a room facing the street, the gate will drive you crazy. Don't ask the hotel for a taxi, use their wifi to order Uber. It's half the price of the taxi deal they got me!
