The air was fresher in the 2000 year old cave than in our room. Extremely basic and very stale. Didn’t trust the throw or the rug. Had a junior suite and there was nothing glamorous about it. Hairdryer came off the wall when we used it. Shower was awful. Not sure why this hotel has 4 stars. It’s 3 at best. Would avoid - extremely disappointed. Addition: staff did respond to this in the hotel and I’ve got to say the service is good. It’s just the facilities are a bit basic for me. On reflection I should have spoken up on the first day and requested a different room. When staff saw the review they did their best to make it up to us

We stayed for 7 nights - too long for the area but only cause the balloons cancelled multiple times and we were eloping. We stayed in 3 different rooms. Definitely recommend one of the top floor, you can hear your neighbours upstairs on the lower level and wifi doesn’t work so well. The view of the balloons is amazing if it doesn’t rain!! We didn’t have great weather unfortunately. But when they flew, you have an amazing view here. Pool is nice but didn’t really get to enjoy it. The service was great. The team at the front desk was always there to help and very accommodating.

Hi team, We didn't like the reception desk. The guy was quoting random racist jokes about India during our arrival. We didn't say anything for the first time but then he kept on saying that during every discussion where I finally had to jump in to ask him to stop and don't generalise. He asked us to be ready by 4:45pm as we are Indians but it's 5pm pick up time for the rest of the countries. Another instance when I asked for discount where he was selling me USD 950 Tour package. He told me that are you from India and started laughing on our faces. I mean he should be immediately removed from that desk as he is the worst receptionist as I would ever experience in my lifetime. Makemytrip should take an action against his hotel with hotel should also be marked accountable here.

The reviews also fooled me and planned my stay here in August from Singapore. I had a terrible experience, to be honest. I would have given zero stars if there was an option. We reached the place about 3 pm or so and, already tired, we went with our other couple-friends. And the staff told us "they had two rooms which are similar". So we went to see both the rooms and to our dismay, there was no similarity in both the rooms. One was an extremely small room with an iron cot and was also dirty. The other room was majestic with a lot of space and beautifully decorated. Upon seeing both the rooms, my husband requested if they can arrange both the rooms to be similar. The hotel owner immediately shot him down and told us that what they are giving us is really the best and we should not complain and take the small room. And when we rejected it they were very very rude to us. Also, I definitely felt he was very racist in the way he spoke to us. My point is if the rooms are different just tell the same to your guests and do not LIE outrightly. Had he initially told us "oh unfortunately we only have these rooms", I would not have felt bad. But his behavior towards us was something I could not tolerate. Ultimately we had to settle for another room on the ground floor without a view even though we paid the same cost as other guests who stayed there. Had I known this I would have definitely chosen another hotel. The breakfast was good also the service, but we travel a lot and have a lot of friends traveling from Singapore we would not recommend this hotel to our friends anymore. Hope this review helps others to make a sound decision while booking their stay here. Look out for rude receptionists and owner during your stay.
