Really great place to stay at if you are interested in exploring the Western parts of Bangkok. Plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, including the very nice downstairs one operated by the hotel themselves. Situated right in between Fai Chai MRT and Charan 13 MRT, so a very Quick 7-8 minute walk to the MRT of your choice, very easy to get anywhere in the city.

The room was very clean, bed was new and comfortable. Looks to be a new hotel, the owner speaks excellent English. Has a proper coffee machine - and does flat white for the Aussies. The location is not your normal tourist spot, this is an authentic thai suburb. Tourist and foreigners are rarely seen by the street food vendors and locals. So you will be looked at ;). And yet it is 5 min uber (or 30 min walk) to the pier for a 3 baht trip across the river to the Grand Palace. Nearest large shopping centre (The Mall Thapra) is only a 9 baht bus ride away - an old local bus, no air con! From there you can also catch the BTS into the city stations. Loved my stay in a different part of the city.
