Older hotel tucked away on a hill. We happened to get the presidential suite which was very large and had a great floor plan. I really appreciated the fridge and freezer combo and the beautiful bathroom. The living furniture should be updated soon as it’s a bit out of touch. The elevator was so slow but everything else was cool. This hotel has a satellite Starbucks location which was convenient. Most of the staff were really friendly except for one lady who was working the front desk the morning on Dec 4th. Her name started with an S I believe. She didn’t say anything rude she just was friendly. She didn’t great me in any kind of way coming or going when I went to check out. All in all I’d stay again if in the area!

While located close to the City and the airport, this property leaves a lot to be desired. Below a highway, which runs adjacent to the property and above it, it is noisy especially during rush hours. First impression was the dirty parking lot. There was trash strewn around and from it’s appearance it has not been cleaned recently. The walls are paper thin. I could hear conversations, on both sides of my room and they were speaking in normal tone. Every door closing sounded like a door being slammed shut. The room door had a gap in it, that provided a draft, let light in and was poorly designed and ill fitted. The king room was comfortable and had couch that opened to a sleeper bed. The heat in the room was dicey, I had to turn the heat up to 81 degrees to keep it in the mid-70’s. The bathroom was comfortable enough. It had a bathtub as opposed to just a shower. The hot water was slow to arrive in the sink. The hotel is sandwiched between a highway overhead and a railway line on the other side of the property. One can hear trucks down shifting throughout the day and night and I was staying on the far side of the hotel. The was plenty of free parking around the property.

I would highly recommend this hotel if you plan to spend time downtown and don’t want to drop $300 or more on an average hotel downtown. It is a little bit dated for sure but the place was very clean. This was my second time here. The restaurant is very good, the cafe is loaded with food choices and the atmosphere is fun. I would return.

I struggle to write this, because the hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful, however I am left very disappointed. I booked a last-minute reservation because my husband and I wanted to spontaneous. I specifically was searching for a hotel with a jacuzzi in the room and was willing to pay whatever the cost. I called to make a reservation because I couldn't find what I needed online. When I called, I apparently was directed to reservation services outside of the hotel. I asked the coordinator if this particular hotel offered a jacuzzi suite and he assured me that it did. He gave me two options and I chose the king suite. We booked it and when we arrived: no jacuzzi. We weren't willing to pay for just a king suite with no jacuzzi for that much money for just one night and we couldn't switch rooms because the hotel was booked up. The staff had never even heard of that issue before, but this needs addressed. Anyone not working in the actual hotel needs to be fully informed of the amenities for customers or call the hotel for clarification. ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING WITH THE FRONT DESK. I was not aware that I wasn't speaking to the front desk, but I will from now on. Also, you can't park here if your vehicle is over 6' 2". Unfortunately our truck was too tall so we couldn't use their garage. We were just hoping for a fun, child-free night after a hockey game and we were forced to just go back home in the rain. Maybe one day we will stay here, but for now, I'm just bummed out.
