Dream Apartments Batumi

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my family. The appart-hotel is excellent in terms of the rooms (2 rooms and 1 living area). They have all the amenities you may need including a kitchen with all the dishes and cutlery, a washing machine, AC (only in one room and the living room). Very clean rooms, they can makeup your room once every two days. The location is excellent, 2 minutes walk to the beach. However, the staff at the reception are not very welcoming. A very big concern is that I spent a few hours in the morning at the lobby on the day I was checking out. Every time a person went to check out, I heard shouting and disputes regarding that the guests have stolen something from the room (towels, cups, plates) and that they should pay around 100 lari for each item. This attracted my attention since I am sure that not all guests would have done this. Later that afternoon, I went to check out and not to my surprise, I was also accused for stealing towels. My response was that I won’t pay anything and they may call the manager. Surprise, Surprise, they straight away apologized and checked me out. Thus, I won’t come back to this hotel due to the way they treat their customers and for accusing everyone for stealing.

Great Facilities but Disappointing Service I recently stayed at this appart-hotel for three nights with my family and had a mixed experience. The hotel boasts excellent rooms, including two bedrooms and a spacious living area. It was equipped with all the amenities we needed, such as a fully furnished kitchen with dishes and cutlery, a washing machine, and air conditioning in one of the rooms and the living room. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and housekeeping was available every two days, which was convenient. The location of the hotel was fantastic, just a short 2-minute walk from the beach, making it very convenient for us to enjoy the coastal area. However, my enthusiasm for the hotel's facilities was dampened by the attitude of the reception staff. They were not very welcoming, and it seemed as though they were quick to assume the worst about the guests. On the morning of my checkout, I spent a few hours in the lobby and observed several guests being confronted with accusations of stealing items from their rooms, such as towels, cups, and plates. Each guest was told they had to pay around 100 lari for each item. This pattern of accusations raised concerns for me, as it didn't seem reasonable to assume that every guest would engage in such behavior. Later in the afternoon, when it was my turn to check out, I too was accused of stealing towels. Refusing to pay for something I didn't take, I insisted they call the manager. Surprisingly, the staff quickly apologized and checked me out without any further issues. Such an experience left a bitter taste, and I can't help but feel that the hotel's management needs to address the way they treat their customers. Accusing guests of theft without proper evidence is unacceptable and can create a hostile and unwelcoming atmosphere. In conclusion, while the appart-hotel itself offered excellent accommodations and amenities, the negative encounters with the reception staff overshadowed the positives. Until the management addresses and improves their approach to guest interactions, I cannot recommend returning to this hotel. It's essential for a hotel to provide not only comfortable lodgings but also a respectful and customer-oriented service for guests to have a truly enjoyable stay.
