Located in the east side of the city centre (a little far from the tourist attractions) but within walking distance to place de bastille. Very kind and attentive staff. Amenities could be better and slightly more upper upscale

First, the staff was wonderful and friendly and helpful. The room was large and the bath was large too. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. It's a little tricky to find, being tucked back in an inner courtyard. You have to look for the purple door with a tiny little inconspicuous sign. The neighborhood is a little out of the way for tourists, it's really a student section of town, so it feels alive and nice but a little out of the way--though within a 10 min walk to three metro stations. It feels like it's been remodeled recently with an Ikea vibe and a wild fancy Japanese toilet. It also has AC, which is nice. But breakfast gets a little crowded, everyone seems to want to eat at the same time. I just felt as if, for the price, I would have preferred something closer to the sites. There is a nice bakery across the street.

Unfortunately this place has no customer service. I have a very bad experience with this hotel. They booked me into two rooms. But I booked only one. I only received one confirmation email, so I could not know that they booked me into two rooms. after realizing the double booking they didn’t give me the money back for the unnecessary room. Not even a part of it. Just fully charged an extra room I didn’t book and didn’t use. The room rates are also too high for what you get in my opinion. He also insulted me very badly afterwards via message because I asked for my money back. Reading the other reviews this happens on regular bases that he insults guests. Please be careful with this place. It all seems very unprofessional and not safe
