Let’s start with the good stuff - great location, close to many central sights including 15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. All of the staff we saw were very polite and helpful and spoke good English or happy to help with your French if you’re game. But our room - the family room - was so cramped that we couldn’t all stand up at the same time. There were just two double beds, a tiny desk and a small chair with a TV on the wall. That’s it. Nowhere to sit and relax. The room was also very hot and stuffy (in Winter) even though our heating was off. I note the room was clean though. The bathroom door didn’t shut. The shower was low powered and often ran cold. The room was just off the street and very noisy, not just from outside. There was a lot of corridor noise and plumbing noise - every time someone flushed above, we heard it clearly. All in our time in Paris was not restful and we spent as much time away from the hotel as possible (ok, maybe not a bad thing)! Sorry - just not recommended.

The hotel rooms and the service were absolutely first class and gave a very homely feel. They accommodated our requests to heat our take away food, stow our luggage after checkout and making the facilities available to us. Thank you Sandrine.

Rooms are small if your on a budget vacation decent, breakfast is not very good mostly bread if you're looking for something filling you have to go out but the staff are amazing.

We stayed here for our first trip to Paris and it was lovely. There were three people in our party and this was one of the few hotels that could accommodate that with actually having real beds for all of us, not just a sofa sleeper. Aside from the train right outside, the area was pretty quiet. We all just wore earplugs and slept just fine. The room was a little cramped but we made it work. One of the members of our party is 6’7” and he was able to still fit in the tiny shower. It was cozy, clean and had a lot of charm. Having metro lines very close by made navigating the city a breeze. Most of all though, we loved the front desk staff! They were all very sweet, helpful and easy to converse with. Would definitely stay here again!
