Eighth Wonder Resort

Extreamly poor management. We booked a tree house as we needed to give that experience to our kid. But the tree house was so stinky. So we had to use our vehicle's air freshner. AC wasn't working properly. It was like an oven during day time. There was no closet, towel rack or at least a table or chair inside the room. Bathroom was dark having only one small bulb. There were lot of rubbish eg: plstic bottles etc all around. The pool was very dirty and water was cloudy. They said the pool water filter is broken hence we couldn't use the pool. Only possitive thing was fairly good Sri Lankan breakfast. Not worth to stay.

Nice location with surprising entry from main road side.. all wooden cottages are great and equipped with all required facilities matching to nature lovers.. swim pool is nice and well maintaining. Food is nice but very limited selection. In room tea coffee facilities available and if need can request extra without a hassle and water bottles also provided .Cleanliness in the cottages are overall good and well maintained. Bedding experience can be enhanced by avoid using single bed combinations for arrangements of double side beds.Overall facilities are 4/5 rating. Who ever loves to have a village farming side walk along the jungle road can enjoy that and visit local vegetable farms in 5 min walk outside the jungle area behind the resort. Location was peaceful and even anyone have partying its enough distance to enjoy ur peace in mind. There is one tree house and that’s the special place to stay on whole resort if you are lucky enough to book that it’s unique experience. Regarding staff , Mr.Kashif manager of the hotel is very professional, friendly and helpful he offered a great customer service and seems like hotel runs with his hard work and dedication and customer care. Kitchen supervisor is a Very negative person and always trying to bring negative feeling in every conversation and he really is a negative personal in hotel team who can effect the business as well as the rating of the overall customer experience which should be actioned immediately.. Chef was new to hotel but he had done a great job to fulfill tastebuds as his level best and other crew also soo helpful and caring. Can arrange barbecue onsite on request with additional charges Regarding food options , Must add fresh juice selection which is available anytime by request and meals service must be reorganized as well with more options where customers can select hassle free and free of mind for the price paying.desserts also must add in a manner where everyone likes and must have a selection not the one kitchen offers.
