Had a fantastic stay here. Right in Midtown, one block from the subway (very useful), delicious free breakfast buffet (scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns/french toast, fresh fruits, oatmeal, yogurt) free wine, beer and snacks, comfy beds, cozy room, great staff, safe and clean. Seriously an amazing hotel. People are quick to be critical without noting the price they're paying. Even so, I've stayed at a Ritz-Carlton and it really was no better than this. I will note that my safe and phone didn't work and the shower lever was slightly loose. Safe got fixed quickly though which is the most important, but the other two weren't. Still, amazing hotel. Thank you so much and see you again soon!

We stayed for 5 days and had a great experience. Rooms are a good size for NYC, kitchen was equipped with all that we needed and the room was very clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast had options fitting for the stay. Centrally located to Time Square, Broadway etc… Definitely a great hotel option we will stay again.

Budget-feeling Marriott property near Times Square and Port Authority. Felt like a 2 star hotel. Bed was comfortable enough, room was larger than that found in many other NYC hotels. Elevator situation was not great; three very small elevators, and with 40 floors, I heard many people had long waits during peak hours (fortunately I was on the second floor so took the stairs). The room had a nice kitchenette. Bathroom wasn’t so clean - shower had lots of dark stains on the bottom. They sold some snacks and drinks in the lobby, but had no water bottles - at 1am was told to walk to a nearby 7/11, which I did but was a mild inconvenience. The bathroom flush button was broken. Housekeeping service is every other day. Had a fine stay but probably wouldn’t recommend.

Honestly a great hotel to stay at. Breakfast was good. Wine and beer was good. Free luggage storage (had a late night flight). Location was great since it was close to the subway, port authority, and close to lots of places. Staff were friendly. Elevators were probably my only issue since there were only 3, but I would just take the stairs without a problem during peak hours (29th floor). Kitchenette also came in handy. Room service is every two days, but that didn’t really bother us. Idk what’s up with all the negative reviews, but great hotel for the price. It’s a budget hotel, not a 5 star.

One of the worst hotel stays I've experienced. I expected much better for $400+ per night! - Like others have mentioned, the elevator experience is HORRIBLE. It only fits 4 people comfortably, but there are always 8-9 people squeezing in because there are so few elevators for so many floors (40). People are on top of each other, bags on people's feet, etc. - Someone in the hotel set the room alarm for 6 am before we arrived, so the alarm unexpectedly woke us on our first morning after arrival. - Both toasters were broken in the breakfast area, and there was no place to sit for breakfast. We tried different times, but even the lobby area was full because they didn't open the rest of the seating for breakfast. - Small thing, but there is no shelf in the shower to put any of your toiletries on. - The bathroom light continuously turned off and on even with no movement in the room. After my stay, I was not sent a link to review the hotel on their website, so I contacted Marriott. The hotel sent an "oops, sorry" type email back to Marriott, but it never made it to me. I had to follow up with Marriott a week later to find out that the case was closed with no resolution. There are much better hotels out there around the same price; don't waste your money here.
