To me this hotel was slightly disappointing. We were there in end of October and we picked that hotel also because of the indoor pool (we knew the outside would probably be quite cold) and gym. Sadly both gym and indoor pool were only open 9-17 which is not too long. This was not specified in booking description. Additionally for about half of our stay the indoor pool was closed. So we paid extra for this facility and in the end were not able to use it. The rooms were really big (we had Comfort Two-Bedroom Suite) so it was nice thing. The location was OK (we had car though, I'm not 100% sure about buses around) and there was plenty of parking spaces. There were also some nice food options in walking distance. In general most of the Paphos was in walking distance unless you have small kids with you (like we did) or are in worse shape/older. There also was a small playground, really small if you consider how many apartments are there but to be honest it was mostly empty, most likely due to low season. In the end I think we could have same sized room for much lower price if we just resigned from indoor pool/gym which we were not able to use too much in the end. Because of the "spa" options I don't think I would come back.

Honestly, a bit of a disappointment. The room was run down and dirty (see photos), and in clear need of some TLC. The bathroom smelled ‘musty’, the water pressure was very low, and never got hot… and then just went freezing cold after a minute or two. The location isn’t very good, and the general area isn’t very nice. I’d recommend staying more towards the sea if you want a nicer place to stay, as that seemed to be where nicer places were. Small details could be improved upon. Paying £10 deposit to use a towel for the ‘spa’ is just silly, if you use it each day. We didn’t though, because the outside pool was closed (which we weren’t aware of when booking), the inside pool wasn’t very heated, and the steam rooms didn’t work on the second time of visiting. The cleaning is only every 3 days. That isn’t too bad for people who are quite clean, but it’s a fixed 3 days, so the room may get cleaned the day after you get there (as in our case), then not for another 3 days. So in reality you may essentially only get a cleaned room once in a week’s stay. That’s too infrequent, and is merely cost cutting.

The hotel rooms are cozy and clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. The hotel is ~30 minutes easy walking from the Mall or the Harbor. I'd like to put in special emphasis the exceptional service of the reception staff. These are probably the most efficient, pleasant, empathic, informative and helpful hotel staff in the world. We noted it as we first set foot in the lobby, but it became all the more appreciated when we had a real problem and got the best care. Thank you Elysia Park staff, you're absolutely the best!
