For a cruise traveler, this hotel is in a good location, 10 minutes away from the pier. The ONLY reason this hotel is still in business is due to the 1 time cruisers visitors. Most of them will not return for a second time. Rooms are dingy and dirty, and the style has not been updated. The layout of the room mirrors a cheap hotel you see on the TV crime shows. The room we had smelled like sewer gas. Staff has the etiquette and friendliness of a cheap Motel, nothing close to the Hilton brand of Hotels. We wanted to snatch a quick cup of coffee before breakfast and were told that everything would be promptly ready at 7am. It was not. At 715am, the staff still was putting everything together. Based on the sign at the entrance of the buffet, it is supposed to be a full buffet. At a glance, you were only able to get yogurt,oatmeal, some fruit, pancakes, muffins, French toast, and a custom omelet. No signage indicated that you can get sausage, biscuits, bacon, and potatoes. The hotel is within walking distance of the Port Everglades cruise terminal. Our room was clean but a bit worn and had a GFCI plug that kept shutting down the coffee maker and the outlets in the bathroom. The walkway to our room needed to be cleaned as there was a lot of spilled food on the carpeting that may have been there for some time. The hotel fronts on Florida A1A so if you are a light sleeper, request a room on the south side of the building which we should have done as several siren events occurred on the night we stayed. Staff was courteous.

This was our hotel B4 going on our cruise. The rooms were very spacious and clean. All the staff was friendly and attentive. I just didn't dig the location. It was very close to the port but I would have rather been closer to the coast line. They had a wonderful breakfast buffet it had something for everyone and even a made to order omelet station the E Spot restaurant and bar had great food and drinks plus they have a happy hour and as a guest you get drink coupons for your first 2 drinks free. Overall I would consider staying here again for sure.

The positives: service was friendly, rooms were spacious, breakfast was great. Very nice buffet. Negatives: the parking is awful, the rooms are very dated and no smart TVs. It was going into a 90s time warp. The alarm clock even had a mp3 adapter. The bathroom tiles are all cracked, the dark paint and furniture was depressing. For as much as we paid, I was expecting a nicer and cleaner room. I’m talking about sticky carpets and stained popcorn ceilings dirty. Nothing that housekeeping could really do. It was a fine stay but I’d hope enough reviews about the rooms may get someone in charge to notice.

The rooms need a MAJOR overhaul! They are old, dingy, and smelly. The stale and musty air smacks you right in the face the moment you walk in - we had to open our balcony door, turn the fan on and open the room door to air it out just to be able to be in there. The room was dirty, especially if you dare to look under the bed. The continental breakfast was disgusting. We took one bite of the eggs, which were clearly powdered and headed to the cafe next door. How they are charging over $300 a night for this is beyond me. I would never stay here again! The most disappointing $326 that I have ever spent.
