Breakfast was good. Gave drink vouchers. Staff wasn’t rude. Major highway noise in room 510. Like I could not sleep on night time at all. We told the front desk and nothing was done to compensate us for the inconvenience. We also asked for a quiet room at check in but we didn’t notice the big sound until midnight. It was too late already.

Pretty hotel concept with rooms facing an inside public restaurant area. They give a generous 4 happy hour drink vouchers which unfortunately I was not able to use because of the time period. Nice view of the area from the room balcony. Rooms are showing age and possible water damage. Air conditioner worked well and room temp was good, but the unit started up each cycle with a loud whine that was not pleasant in the middle of the night. At this expensive price point, I expect better! Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot with good water pressure. Free wifi provided with speedier paid option at a daily fee. $15 daily parking charge. Room was clean enough but not spotless. Location was great for my meds. Service desk employees were helpful and friendly. Annoyingly, the room card is required to get out of the parking lot….even after checkout. Duh. That makes no sense! Minus one star in service just for that.

Overall, this was a good experience, though the rooms are a bit worn. The main issue was with housekeeping, which didn't stock towels or replenish toilet paper. I feel strongly that Embassy Suites locations should continue to serve unlimited (within reason) wells drinks instead of the 2 wells drinks/night this location has decided to do. Thankfully, the nice woman who checked me in gave me plenty of extra drink coupons, such that this was not an issue. Otherwise, I would have deducted 2/5 stars. During breakfast, which was otherwise good, there seemed to be people affiliated with the hotel going to tables to sell vacation schemes to guests. If I had been one such guest, I would have deducted another star. I did not appreciate my credit card being charged months in advance for a deposit when cancellation was permitted until right before the stay. I had to call the hotel to get the deposit removed, which was inconvenient. The covered entry to the hotel is not well suited for ride pick-up or drop-off since it leads to the gated parking lot. Drivers have to abruptly turn around. I would stay here again but can also see how things could easily be worse.
