Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room needed a little love (damaged paint and worn out carpet) but was otherwise safe and comfortable. The elevator was a little scary and we had a negative interaction with a cleaner trying to kick us out of the room so she could clean (we showed her the 'do not disturb sigh' and she left). Free wifi and coffee, laundry available, location is awesome and the price can't be beat. If you are in Vancouver and just need a safe place to sleep, this place is perfect.

I loved it, my girlfriend and I stayed here one night. It was a very memorable stay as we needed it and staff were very friendly. Amenities were easily accessible and everything close by. We had the best view of English Bay. Right front and center to the main beach and cactus club.

Just had a stay here. It was actually decent. I knew what to expect based on the other reviews and the price. I had a nice time until my checkout experience. I was packing about to check out and the house keeper harassed me telling me to get out of my room! She couldn’t speak English or understand me. This literally took time out of me packing to deal with her. Then when I go down to check out the front desk employee is so rude to me and telling me to calm down!!! That is the worst customer service ever! He never apologized or wanted to help he just gaslight me. It is crazy I have never been treated so poorly! As a single female traveller I do not feel safe every going back there or recommending it to anyone ever!

Stayed in late September2023. Great location post cruise close to the sea wall and Stanley Park. However.. we had bugs crawling on our bathroom wall. Mice living under the stove in the kitchenette. Carpets were very old, poorly vacuumed . The elevator often did not work and we were on the 4th floor. Noisy street below and homeless sleeping on the road beneath our window. Not a relaxing getaway. Unclean. Very old. Needs an overhaul!!
