We got a one bedroom apartment which is super spacious with a large living room, big dining table, couch, arm chair, separate work station and balcony overlooking the park. The good: The hotel is modern and perfectly located minutes away from the Oktoberfest event, tram and train station. Staff is friendly, although limited to a couple of people during the night. Breakfast is good with a decent variety of options to cater to various tastes, and room service food is good and delivered super fast. You can even order off menu items without a problem. Bathroom is large, water pressure is amazing in the shower and temperature control is perfect. Air conditioning is great, works better than most hotels in Europe that we've visited. Bathroom amenities are better than average with new toothbrushes and toothpaste replenishment. Shower caps are (according to my wife) the best she's ever used. Bedsheets, duvet and pillow covers are great. Very soft and crisp. Pillows are comfortable and abundant. Ample closet space for all our stuff. Safe in the closet. The bad: Housekeeping is dismal. Dining table had stains when we arrived. Dining table chairs had crumbs and bits of food stuck between the back and side of the cushions. Balcony seems to be never cleaned. Cigarette ash and butts all around the balcony edge and stuck to the railing. We complained and balcony was dusted once, but ash still stuck to the floor and railing. Dust left on the floors. Room service food left over from the previous night would be ignored. Receipts and paper wrappers left on the floor. Spilled drinks in the fridge are ignored and fridge shelves left sticky and smelly. Room service basically empties the trash bins, makes the beds and replenishes the dirty towels. That's it. Nothing else is done. Serious attention is needed here. Sofa bed is unusable. Crooked and bent. We had to pull the mattress out and my daughter slept on the floor. Mattress on the bed is too soft. Back hurts from sleeping on it for 5 days. Dining table chairs and old and the leather is worn out.

Staff is friendly. Breakfast is pretty good. Refrigerator in room hasn't worked, but it has some snacks and warm drinks in it which will stay in it. Restaurant is closed until 4 PM today. The refrigerator might be replaced tomorrow. The drinks will be warm in it tonight and they include warm beer and warm water. The cost of the room includes breakfast. It also includes warm beer and warm water in a warm refrigerator. The air conditioning works well. The bed is comfortable and the room is nice. The bathroom is also nice. Since I do not like warm beer, I cannot say if it is nice. The lady at the front desk seemed unhappy that I hadn't said anything about the refrigerator until now, but we had a bottle of Riesling in it, which was warm, last night with our daughter and her friend from the U.S. That is when we discovered that the refrigerator did not function. It is Oktoberfest and that is very close by. The beer there was cold. I had one and only one. I was surprised there was no live music all over the gigantic area.
