Staying at the Hotel Eurostars was an intriguing and, in some respects, bizarre experience. Let's start with the breakfast buffet: although well organized and delicious, it could pay more attention to the options for celiacs, offering more choices. Praise certainly goes to the waiters for their courteous and attentive service, while the large and comfortable spaces of the hotel contributed to a pleasant stay. In the context of the rooms, some features left a positive impression: the bed, enriched by a comfortable topper, and the availability of tea facilities indeed made the stay more welcoming. However, the overall experience was limited by several areas of much-needed improvement: the room's lack of soundproofing compromised tranquility, while the dated decor and TV sound quality require an upgrade to create ambience. more modern and welcoming. Maintenance reports, such as broken toilet hooks, suggest the need for more careful supervision by staff. But the most disappointing thing was to find that, starting from the second day, the rooms were not made up: a particularly disconcerting aspect considering the cost of the accommodation and the four-star rating of the hotel. In such a prestigious context, in fact, one would expect high quality service and constant attention to the needs of guests. Despite these observations, the property can boast of an enviable location: close to tourist spots such as the Franciscan Church of the Annunciation and Prešeren Square, making it an ideal starting point for explorers of the area. Finally, although small in size, the swimming pool is functional, offering an advantage for those who want a moment of relaxation during their stay. Overall, the Hotel aroused a range of mixed emotions: although it offered pleasant moments (such as the well-organized breakfast and some comforts in the rooms) it is difficult to ignore the disappointment that arose in observing a greater number of negative aspects compared to to the positive ones. An intriguing mix of potential and limitations that, I hope, the hotel can balance in the future to offer a more satisfying experience for guests (and more consistent with what is expected from a hotel of this caliber).
