I look forward to staying at the Florida hotel every time I go to Bangkok. The hotel is super easy to get to frøm the airport. Once you are there you can use the light rail for most places. If you are not it was easy to get a taxi or tu tuk and driver's know this area. My favorite: the pool is amazing. The pool is great for swimming laps and cooling off. At most their are only a couple other people using the pool. They have a restaurant and it's a nice place to go for breakfast. Many, many street foods and restaurants close by. Several 7/11 and a great place to get change from a thousand Bhat bill. Check in is easy and I enjoy hearing their old type writer's. I enjoyed the firm bed and room. The room is simple but they have made a lot of upgrades. Great shower and the tub is huge. No hot water at bathroom sink, but that common in most of the older Thai homes.

If you are looking for just hotel to sleep at night, you must should this one! First, Location After you landed at Bkk airport, take the airport rail link to Praya Thai station, you will get to this hotel only 100 metre or ever less! It is placed right in the middle of downtown, 10 steps to BTS skytrain then you can get to anywhere you want! Second, Price You only spend 1,000 thai baht a night plus breakfast and bath tub Third, Cleanliness Even it is a vintage hotel but the standard of the cleanliness doesn't off guard, you will clean bed sheet, a nice pillow and a clean bathroom.

The hotel is outdated. Beds were okay. A/C worked just fine. Towels and room were clean. Basically everything was just old but still functional. It must have been a five star hotel 30-40 years ago. The service was excellent. Location is what I paid for (a minute to airport link/ Phayathai station).

EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE SLEEPING EXPERIENCE CAUSE OF OUTSIDE VEHICLE NOISE AND NON SOUNDPROOFED ROOMS. DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO STAY HERE, READ BELOW PROS & CONS Pros: Clean room, room cleaning done everyday Bathtub works great AC works great Right outside a BTS and airport rail link to suvarnaboomi airport So many restaurants and malls are just walk or 1/2 railway stations away Got a decent pool CONS The road facing rooms are not sound proof as the hotel lies near a intersection signal, the sound of vehicles will haunt your sleep all night, we stayed for 4 nights and the level of noise from outside into the room was extremely uncomfortable and disturbed us all night. The room has mosquito, I don't know how it entered, but we encountered minimal amount of mosquitos biting which caused discomfort Finally: I will not recommend you stay in the main road facing rooms at all, u can't sleep at night peacefully, if you're assigned to a road facing room, immediately ask a replacement room with quieter atmosphere. I've also shared a video of how much sound the outside road produces to give a glimpse of what you'll hear inside your room.
