We stumbled upon this place while walking around the area. Happy we went in and got pizza because it was really good. The owner was friendly and nice. It’s a simple and small place but they offer quality italian food. Sad we didn’t get to try their other dishes but I would say this place is actually better than other (fancier) restaurants in Rome.

Everytime I come to Rome, I have to stop and grab a bite to eat here. They take card and cash so paying is never a problem. The food here is great, and they have a wide yet cheap selection. Overall, a really great place to grab a bite to eat on the go.

Wonderful food and delightful staff. Atmosphere is a walk in place with just a counter for four people and the line was out the door! It's a take away. If you are good with that, best option after a tour of the Vatican

We got a takeaway from Pizza House on our first night in Rome as we were living around the corner and were too tired to go out to eat. As other reviews had suggested the owner is so friendly and his English is excellent (I love the Italian language but I'm terrible at it and sometimes English is just easier). It was later in the night and there was a limited selection (I think this is a lunch and afternoon place primarily) but we put a pretty good meal together: pizza, chicken wings, and pork skewers with roast potatoes. It was just what we wanted and there was for too much food for two people at just 16 euros, which is almost cheaper than cooking yourself. The owner told me that his menu changes on a daily basis depending on what fresh ingredients are available and I love that. So if you're in this part of town, and looking for a good home cooked style meal at incredible prices with some fantastic pizza, then look no further than Pizza House.
