I stayed here during the Christmas Holiday. Pictures are deceiving, it isn't as nice as the photos. I checked in with my pets and was placed on the 3rd floor. Upon entering my room I was immediately disappointed. The carpet looked like it should be in the dump, I was afraid to walk on it. The room came with one chair a side table that I guess you are supposed to pull up to your bed and eat because only 1 guest could sit at the desk chair. I couldn't get clean linen, non of the house keepers could understand English which is not what I am complaining about. I called the desk and still no one came by. I found my linen in a bag outside my door when I returned later that day. I spoke with maintenence staff who was in the hall because an elevator was out, he called the desk again for me. When you flush the toilets it's loud, the sink is outside of bath area and there is no where to hang hand towels. After checking out I was hit with an additional $160 because it was thought that I didn't check out in time when I actually checked out the night before I was supposed while still paying full price for the room. Pet fee is 75.00 which only cover the fact that you are bringing your pet. I had a conversation with staff with all my concerns and no one said anything the only response I got was I have to see the rooms I have never been in one. This was staff response when I said the room reminded me of Motel 6. All and All I was not pleased. Marriott please do better. Let's not mention the pool or gym. Best thing about my stay was the shower and location. Will never be back.

Very disappointing & would not recommend. The first room I was assigned was disgusting. The bathroom wreaked of urine. I was moved to another room & upon inspection, that one was equally bad. I pulled the sheets back to check for bugs. I discovered what appeared to be a very large mattress burn about the size of a dinner plate. The bathroom had peeling paint and cracked tile. I took pictures & showed them to the front desk. The gentleman asked if i could forward them so he could show the GM & I did. I am baffled as to why houseeeping would make up a bed like that and not report it. It was obvious someone had started it on fire, as it was burned right through to the stuffing. Now onto room #3. It's not what I would expect for a room that costs $250 per night. The mattress is hard and the carpet needs a cleaning. Although the front desk was apologetic and promptly remedied the problem with the first 2 rooms; I'm very disappointed with the poor quality. The 3d room was ok, but not great. The mattress has passed its prime. The pool is out of commission because its under renovation. No discount is offered for this inconvenience. The breakfast buffet offers waffles, French toast, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, bagels, breads, fruit, yogurt, granola and pastries. (The toaster didn't work & when I told staff, they responded, "we had that same problem yesterday") Although a nice array, I wouldn't pay $22 to eat in an open area dining that is absolutely freezing! It has to be 50 degrees, no joke. All of the guests were complaining. To consider this a 4 star hotel is a real stretch of the imagination.

I'll definitely stay here again. Tremendous staff: attentive, kind, helpful, professional. Big rooms, spacious, clean. Food on site is quite good and the fitness center is excellent. Close proximity to a host of areas in Fort Lauderdale. Easy access to the interstate and a quick ride to the airport as well. In an era when customer service has become less and less important at big hotels, this one bucks the trend. Stay here!

Hidden Jem 💎 Booked online, so affordable for everything that comes with this place! I had the pleasure of interacting with front desk and the breakfast staff. All professional, friendly, and well organized! My room smelled amazing as soon as I opened the door, everything was clean and we slept great. Breakfast I took back up to my room but I wish I would have ate in the beauty dining room, plus the food was so delicious. I have worked years in the past in the hotel industry, as staff & as management… great job guys! Thank you for my much needed break and stay
